#9 North from the staging area by the RR tracks to Pine Stump is being groomed and will be in very good shape once we are done.
#9 south to Rexton and #473 to Cut River will be groomed today/tonight. Groomer Dan is going to attempt to get through the swamp between Rexton and Trout Lake. Keep your fingers crossed. Navy on standby!
#45 TO THE FALLS was groomed last night. Rated as very good.
NEWBERRY AREA SNOW INFO,WEATHER AND OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST There is about 25 to 38" of snow on the ground. We have between an 8" to a 12" base.
We are at 11° again this morning. It was pretty windy during the night and we did get maybe 2 more inches in our immediate area. Daytime highs will plunge back to the single digits in the north and teens in the south, and wind chills will be at or below zero during the daytime hours, dropping to -5 to -15 (with a -20 or two possible tonight in the north). 6"+ inches are possible in a few areas of the northern UP. Still predicting warmer temps for the weekend!

I realize it might be inconvenient to have to mail REAL photos by snail mail but that is the way we have to do it for this year. Actually, it isn’t all that hard to get photos made from digital; there are a LOT of online options, some people have their own photo printers and most drug stores can make photos from digitals. PLEASE HELP US MAKE THIS FIRST CONTEST A HUGE SUCCESS SO IT CAN GROW AND GROW!!! PLEASE start looking through your photos or get prepared to take news ones! TASA’S FIRST ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST!
